Meet The Therapist

Hello, I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Stephanie Schmaltz and I am a Registered Massage Therapist. I have relocated to the beautiful city of Kelowna, from Oliver, B.C. where I have been practicing massage therapy since graduating from the 3 year (3000 hour) program at Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy.

I believe that massage can help to facilitate the body’s natural healing process by increasing awareness of the body, decreasing stress and maintaining and improving tissue health. I perform deep tissue massage, neuromuscular therapy, soft tissue release, athletic maintenance, injury prevention and rehabilitation. I also offer Swedish, hot stone and maternity massage.

I believe an active lifestyle promotes good health. I spend my free time snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, practicing yoga and playing soccer.

I continuously update my knowledge of new techniques which enables me to offer my clients the most effective treatment for their individual needs. I am registered with the College of Massage Therapists of B.C. (www.cmtbc.bc.ca) and am also a member of the Massage Therapists Association of B.C. (www.massagetherapy.bc.ca).
